Kimanya-Ng'eyo has a Project and Practice team that is responsible for coordinating and managing practices, projects and activities that are incorporated in the PSA books. Whether it involves the PSA students going out to the communities for various campaigns, agriculture, Nurturing Young Minds, investigating about their Micro-Region or simply staying in their study groups to perform experiments, the projects team accompanies them on their path of learning. A lot of emphasis is given to the practices since it is through these activities that the community is able to transform. Since the student is responsible for his/her own learning, he/she is at the forefront in this learning process. A list of ongoing projects and activities are;Classes of Nurturing Young Minds,Learning how to construct, maintain a fishing pond as well as rare the fish, pine tree growing, Diversified High Efficiency Plots,managing small vegetable gardens like growing onions, tomatoes,cabbages,maize and lettuce. The projects team is also involved in doing research and at the moment they are researching on technology on fruit drying, bamboo growing, hydroponics systems, city gardens and bee keeping.
